So do we get TORs as well to defend our SAM systems?
Not only will most of their air be running radar off, and flying EOS with AWACS data on their screen, but they can also run SEAD against all of our SAMS without having to worry about any TORs shooting any of the inbound missiles.
I hope this is not the case.
I invite you to check the attached mission file out again:
- Sukhumi and Gudauta (Front line) have IDENTICAL
SHORADs (4 TORs, 4 Shilkas and 2 Strellas) aside from M2 vs BMP and other static targets.
Much deeper behind the frontline, S-300 is not covered by Maykop's TORs (out of range), just like the Patriot site for you guys.
Red forces have addtional SHORADs at Sochi and Maykop BUT
you guys have 2 Hawk systems at Batumi and Tbilisi with significantly longer range.
- Now the real question - Su-25Ts vs A-10's: Maverick, the mission designer didn't say anything about restricting 25T's from using SEAD configuration.
- Finally, guys, do not forget this is planned to be a GCI event, so a human operator will be there guiding you to targets and refreshing your SA, in addition to AWACS data, which means all pilots can take advantage of that.
